If I Only Had A Brain.....

Today I've been thinking about brains in various contexts. Earlier this morning, I wanted to shake someone until their brains rolled out of their head. Needless to say I was in a bad mood. Then I sat in a meeting and wondered if some people like to talk just to hear their brains rattle. Then I went through a stage where I just knew I had left my brain at home in the bed....but then it woke up and I used it for a while to be productive at work. Then I went to get a haircut and realized my brain had been deeply buried under my nappy hair (which looks better now BTW). At 6 p.m., I was still using my brain at work, trying to remember names of people I should know but couldn't recall. And now, after a long day, I am straining my brain while writing about brains.....I wish the Wizard of Oz was on TV so I could just sit and watch the scarecrow sing. Gabby and I are turning in early I think (oops...there I go, using my brain again!)
