With the icy weather we've had over North Central Arkansas for the past two days, my mules and horses asked me to express their sincerest and greatest appreciation to James Whitten, the friendly hay delivery man. Without James looking out for the Rush family herd, the mules probably would've starved to death a couple of winters ago....but now that we have two more mouths to feed, we are especially thankful for our reliable and hard-working hay man.
James, if you're out there in blog world (and I know Kim is at least), we thank you for keeping us in the hay. We don't know how we'd manage otherwise.....
The mules and horses say Hey Hey Hay and Thanks!

Speaking of Hay.... George would like to buy about 10 bales of yours if you have it to sell....he wants to see if it's different than what we are using.
Sure....we have plenty if you need some. It's just mixed grass hay, bermuda and such from the river bottom field in Sharp County. Horses eat it fine, don't know about goats though. Just tell him it's up in the barn and he can stop by and look at it anytime and if he wants some, just get it.
the Hay man says "hey" and he's glad to be of service!
