Kim Whitten tagged me last week or maybe even the week before and I've really been thinking about but I realize it appears I have ignored it. Not the case. I've just not been in the blogging mood with all the Thanksgiving festivities. Haven't even had the computer on in a couple of days which is very unusual for me. Had a great Thanksgiving breakfast with the kids, fantastic lunch with my family; then got to babysit Annie Grace on Friday and had more fun and fellowship on Saturday's trailride at Rafter D. My friend Nancy and her husband George rode with us and made the day extra fun for me. So, now that I've cleared that up, let's get serious about this 'challenge' stuff.
My tag challenge includes showing my left and right handwriting (TBA), 5 of my 50/50s, 5 pet peeves and five things that don't mix well. So here we g0!
Five 50/50s
White Bread/Wheat Bread (Both are good if you can find fresh)
Mayo/Miracle Whip (Depends on which meat is on the sandwich)
Bootcut jeans/Carpenter jeans (Depends on what type of fashion statement you want to make that day)
Truck/Car (Anything but a mini-van please!)
Live Christmas tree/Artificial Christmas tree (Each has its advantages. I've been going artificial lately but I secretly long for a live tree with that evergreen fragrance.)
Five pet peeves
People who always have an excuse why something is someone else's fault
Drivers who cut across rows in the parking lots-this is actually dangerous I think
Someone who pops their chewing gum or the cap on their ink pen repeatedly
Trash that someone has thrown out in or near my driveway....like I need something else to clean
Yappy dogs
(Notice 4 out of 5 peeves are attributed to people. I need to work on my tolerance levels...huh)
Five things that don't mix well
As tempted as I am to say oil and water, I realize that's a classic so here are five others:
Shorts and cowboy boots (unless you're Daisy Duke)
Me and penicillin (I'm allergic)
Me and cats (I'm allergic)
Molly the Mule and Fred (for some reason they just can't bond)
Beer and corn flakes (even though Hawkeye tried it once on MASH, I just can't go there)
Deer hunters and vegetarians (Oops...that's six...seven if you count oil and water...time to quit)
More to follow....I'm still practicing my left-handed handwriting so I'll post that tomorrow to complete my tag-challenge. Thanks to Kim for including me. I feel renewed energy for blogging.
