Remember that awesome Jimi Hendrix song? I love that heavy blues sound so many of the Hendrix tunes are filled with.
Saturday morning, as I was driving to Melbourne from home to pick up Annie Grace, I popped over the hill by the Guion Road and there it was in the sky....a RAINBOW. It was a dandy too and I just happened to have my digital cam in the car. I checked the rear view mirror and there wasn't anyone behind me (for like the next 45 miles-it was 7:30 am on Saturday morning...only the crazy people were out!) so I pulled over and took a few pictures of 'the sky'.
This picture makes me think that Ms. Rainbow is reaching down to kiss Mr. Tree...that's what got me thinking about Jimi Hendrix. I know, I have a strange way of making associations....but if you keep reading my blog, you'll start to understand me (yeah, right)!

Hey... we were watching the same Rainbow...I posted a photo of it on my blog too.... from my house, I could see the whole thing from tree top to tree top...it was perfect....and so easy to see.
