Sending My Best To Pom...
This is Pom. Isn't he beautiful? He was lost from (or left behind by) his previous owner on the highway the week before Hurricane Gustov parked over Arkansas and rained so much. Fred and I spent a while trying to lure him in so we could help him. Pom had clearly been a wanderer for several days as he was dirty, wet and hungry plus he was badly in need of a dose of Frontline. Pom was also very skiddish at first but by the time he lived with us a week, he would roll over and let me give him a bath with soap. I brushed burrs out of his fur and cut much more out....especially from what must have once been a beautiful tail.
Pam Taylor from ICARE helped Pom find a new home in Cave City. I hope he is happy and has a wonderful place to live for many many years. He only was with us for a week but he touched my heart and reminded me how a little love can mean so much. It's unimaginable to me that people can be unkind and irresponsible with pets. They need us humans to treat them the way we like to be treated - with care, respect and patience. They need a happy safe place to live, food to eat and clean water to drink just like we do. Why would they possibly deserve any less??????????? Little Pom deserves the best...

I'm so glad that Pom found a good, loving home. I'm also glad he found good, loving (persistent) foster parents.
He is a pretty little guy!
