Kim Whitten Inspires Me...

At work and otherwise, my friend Kim Whitten inspires me. Her creativity and openness is refreshing to me on a regular basis. A perfect example was today when I visited her blog and read her six random things post. I read them and it made me smile as I enjoyed her willingness to reveal these random things. It inspired me to the same. Here goes:

1. I'm addicted to Wet Ones....I use them religiously after being in public places, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. I get sick too easily so I worry about catching a cold.
2. Orange juice makes me feel nauseated. But I love cranberry juice!
3. My idea of being frugal is to groom my dog myself....I don't do my own hair though.
4. I firmly believe some of the best advice I ever received was from my grandpa who warned me to be realistic about finding friends. He said I would be very fortunate to find a real friend in my lifetime. He defined a real friend as someone who wouldn't ask you to do something they knew you couldn't do and had respect for your values and the person you are. My friend Kim is like that.
5. My garden isn't growing as well this year as in the past. But I love to can and preserve what we grow & for the first time, I made plum jelly this summer.
6. Even at age 42, I still get carsick sometimes on curvy trips.

Thanks Kim, for being a real friend (according to my grandpa's definition) and for inspiring me, perhaps even challenging me, to offer my best...

Must be Wet Ones. I bought the Equate brand one time and they drove me crazy....they don't pop out as easy and I had to take the scissors to the lid. Now I'm a strict devotee of Wet Ones.
