Fred and I attended the Mule Jump Contest in West Plains, MO on June 21. It was pretty interesting watching the mules jump over the fence, in some cases jumping more than their actual height. We had a very tasty sample of homemade rootbeer and a not so tasty bratwurst from one of the vendors...you just never know what you're gonna get but you have to make the best of it. And the mule show pretty much made up for the yucky food.
