My good friend Randy O'Neal from the ole' high school days had coordinated a dinner meeting for some of the ole' classmates for Saturday night. Those of us who were getting together hadn't seen each other since the class reunion five years ago. It was something I had looked forward to all week and I was so happy we did it. Randy O'Neal ended up being sick and couldn't attend (hope he feels better tomorrow though). Donna Hughes and Randy Moore came on to our house and we talked about high school and had a great visit. They remember a lot more about those days than I do. Fred grilled steaks (out in the cold) and they were delicious as always. I am so lucky to have Fred!!!!!!
Donna and Joe....are great at following directions and arrived in style driving a sporty Mustang. Makes me feel like a Grandma. Oh, wait, I am a Grandma. I am so lucky to be a Grandma....because Annie Grace and Penelope came over to spend the afternoon today too....we ate pizza and apples and various other things, took naps and watched SpongeBob for a while....I am so lucky!!!!
Ok, Back to my Topic...
Randy and Katherine...all the way from Marshall, Texas. They were traveling in style too-a super cool Corvette. Need to get me one of those before summer-time. Randy is so un-changed by the years. I hope he will always be young at heart.
I am so lucky to have old friends from high school!!!!
Malcolm went back to Imboden this morning after breakfast. He was so much help to me yesterday. He cleaned up the yard around the construction site, picked up tree limbs that had fallen in the back yard and hauled all that away. Also while he was here this week, Malcolm took his Compass test for admission to Ozarka College! I hope I will be lucky enough to have him here at Ozarka in the fall.....I usually keep a running list of things for Malcolm to do and he always does them for me!!!! I am so lucky!!!!!
