After three years waiting since my mare Misty ate the top out of my ornamental grass, the stuff finally plumed out! I have been watching it grow and hoping for three long summers that it would bloom again. It popped out this plume last week one day and I loved the way the moon was shining its spotlight on it....seems to be saying 'about time you decided to act naturally'. Isn't nature so beautiful, even in the dark....I'm sure this looks tasty to Misty but I'm hoping she can't get to it this time.
